Welcome here,
I am Amanda.
Whatever brought you here, welcome. This is a living portfolio of what I practice and what I offer. For more than a decade I have been on the mat, and for years inside the texts of Vedanta, asking the same question in different words.
I have travelled, lived in communities, studied, and created offerings for people in many parts of the world and in very different rooms — some quiet, some crowded, some held together only by breath. What continues through all of it is the same exploration: living as a felt experience.
Look around. I am here if you need me.

Amanda Roth is a therapist trained in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), somatic practitioner, self pleasure practices facilitator, massage therapist, yoga teacher, breathwork facilitator, photographer, and multidisciplinary artist whose work explores the relationship between embodiment, emotional awareness, creativity, and human connection.
With a foundation in ACT and years of immersion in somatic practices, movement, meditation, relational work, and contemplative philosophy, Amanda has developed an integrated therapeutic approach that weaves these disciplines together into a holistic and deeply human practice.
Her work is rooted in helping clients develop a more conscious, compassionate, and honest relationship with themselves, their emotions, their body, inner narratives, behavioral patterns, and relational dynamics. Rather than striving to “fix” or suppress difficult experiences, Amanda’s approach supports clients in cultivating psychological flexibility, bodily understanding, self-awareness, acceptance, and the capacity to meet themselves with greater compassion and presence.
Deeply influenced by Advaita Vedanta, somatic therapies, movement practices and creativity, her work bridges the psychological and the existential, inviting both grounded therapeutic exploration and deeper inquiry into what it means to be fully human — here in earthly sense, but also beyond flesh and bones.
Out of this integration, Amanda developed Somatic Meditation — an embodied approach combining trauma informed therapy foundations, somatic awareness, embodied presence, emotional processing, nervous system regulation, movement, and self-inquiry. A practice that helps deepen the relationship to the language of the body, gently listening and being guided to the layers beneath the surface.
Alongside her therapeutic work, photography and dance remain central parts of Amanda’s world and way of listening. Her creative practice informs the sensitivity, depth, and relational presence that shape all of her offerings. Through 1:1 therapy, mentorship, women’s circles, somatic meditation, breathwork, bodywork, movement, and creative exploration, Amanda creates spaces where people can reconnect to themselves with honesty, softness, and aliveness.
Photography and videography are, for Amanda, an extension of the same listening she brings to her therapeutic work — the same attention to what a body is saying before it speaks, translated into image and motion. She often finds herself in the context of contact improvisation and in spaces where humanness itself is at the center of research, photographing and film making with bodies in relation, in movement, and in the quiet between.
